The Fondation Azzedine Alaïa and MA in Fashion Studies at the New School Parsons Paris invite you to FASHION RELEASE.
During the last two years, Parsons Paris students had the unique opportunity to work in collaboration with the Foundation and explore the pieces collected by Azzedine Alaïa in his unique collection. The exhibition will present their collaborative research project on fashion heritage with a case study on Elsa Schiaparelli and Azzedine Alaïa. The installation shows a part of this research process, displaying some key documents such as the unseen poetical press releases by Elsa Schiaparelli and the archival research made by the students of the Master during this year.
This will also be the occasion to launch the magazine Printing Fashion, Issue 4, that will be sold at the Fondation bookstore.
