Business case with Maison Christian Dior

Throughout the fall semester, Strategic Design and Management juniors carried out a business case with Maison Christian Dior. We checked in with instructor Jerome Israel to hear what that was like.

“In 2019, we started offering the Digital Marketing ecosystems course to SDM juniors during Fall semester. This course explores the path from traditional to digital marketing by investigating new frameworks, omnichannel marketing and best practices across various industries. The best moment of the course comes with the final project: the students work by groups on the digital strategy of a brand. 

This year, they had the chance to work with the Maison Christian Dior. Gary Pinagot, Social Media and E-Reputation Director at Dior, came to Parsons Paris in October to talk about his work and to meet the students. Then he briefed them to analyze the digital ecosystem of Dior versus four main competitors (Prada, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Hermès) and to propose recommendations to develop a digital footprint. 

Later, Gary came back for another 2-hour session with each group of students to discuss what were their impressions and to answer questions. “

The final presentations of the students took place on December 10. Congrats for the great work!
