Lara Gerlach – Winner of the SAVOY FAIRE project for BORBONESE
Congratulations to the winner of the 2020 SAVOY FAIRE collaboration with Borbonese – Lara Gerlach.

Lara’s bag collection resonates as a modern day love story. It explores the relationship between fashion and the desire for eternal youth. The designer took inspiration from The Fountain of Youth by Cranach the Elder and the unique heritage of Borbonese. She explored the clothing and pleated pouches of the Italian Renaissance, as well as the imagery of the eccentric Luisa Marchesa Casati. The collection encompasses values of sustainability and of gender inclusivity while reinventing contemporary romanticism. Lara’s bag RINASCI will be produced in a limited edition to be commercialized by Borbonese.
