“Object Archive Interface: Museum API” Louvre visit
Students from “Object Archive Interface: Museum API” class visited the Musée du Louvre for a hands-on workshop designed to rethink the traditional art museum experience.
Accompanied by Professors Stephanie Nadalo and Gaël Hugo, they explored the Louvre’s tactile gallery, where visitors are invited to touch artistic reproductions. The class also discussed the role that contemporary design plays within the historic institution and examined the pros and cons of social media usage within a museum context. In the coming weeks students will draw from these experiences to design their own museum mediation projects.
