Remembering André Haynal (1930-2019)
It is with great sadness and respect that we announce the death of the esteemed Ferenczi scholar, André Haynal, on November 7th, 2019.

Honorary professor at the Geneva University medical school, psychoanalyst, and philosopher
(1930-2019)
André Haynal came to the first Ferenczi Conference organized by Lewis Aron and Adrienne Harris, in 1991. He wrote on Ferenczi’s technique. He was one of the European scholars who kept Ferenczi’s name and work alive and in circulation.
We send condolences to his widow Veronique Haynal, his children Cleo and David Haynal,
and to the world of Ferenczi scholars who esteem him so highly.
