Nergis Gjinolli

Nergis completed her MA TESOL degree in the summer of 2018. She chose to complete the program fully onsite in New York City,  and now lives in Kosovo.

 

 Currently, I am volunteering as a TOEFL instructor at the American Advising Center with the Education USA program whereby I am preparing the 12th graders for their TOEFL tests to study in the United States.

At the same time, I am also teaching English to Inspectors of the Department of Trade. The best thing is that I am working with groups of extremely intrinsically motivated students which makes me take the utmost pleasure in what I am doing.

Both my jobs are very flexible in terms of lesson planning and course design, After the MA, I feel that I have the proper skills and am well equipped to carry out and shape my lessons based on my student’s needs and objectives of the institutions.

Having studied in the United States, I am also able to provide authentic insight into the educational system to my students who are in the process of studying in the United States.
