Management and Social Justice Conversation Series

Management and Social Justice Conversation Series is created, curated, and hosted by Dr. Latha Poonamallee at the New School in New York City.

Join us for our kick-off event of the second installment of the Management and Social Justice Conversation Series on Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at 12 pm EST!

The first series 2020-21 was originally conceived of as an in-person 2-day conference in May 2020. The pandemic led to a pivot and it resulted in a virtual year long conversation series featuring all the accepted submissions from the conference spread over the year 2020-21.

It was a fortuitous pivot because as a virtual series, it is offered free of cost to participants and attendees from all over the world. Given the success of the ongoing first series, it has been decided to host a second series spanning the academic year 2021-22.

The event will be moderated by Anita Howard, Adjunct Professor, Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Opening remarks by The New School’s President Dwight McBride and introduction by Latha Poonamallee, Associate Professor of Management and Social Innovation & Chair of Management Programs

Presented by the Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment at the Schools of Public Engagement.
