Gabrielle Bendiner-Viani, interviewed on new book “Contested City”

Gabrielle Bendiner-Viani, part-time Urban Studies faculty, was recently interviewed by Prithi Kanakamedala for the Gotham Center for New York City History about her new book, “Contested City”.

Bendiner-Viani will also be discussing the book, community, art, and planning more broadly in a panel at the Graduate Center’s Center for the Humanities on Wednesday, April 3rd, with Kemi Ilesanmi from the Laundromat Project, Prithi Kanakamedala from Bronx Community College, and Gregory Jost from Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association.
