McPhearson & Cook: NYC Stormwater Resiliency
Environmental Studies: Timon Mcphearson, Associate Professor of Urban Ecology and Director of Urban Systems Lab, along with Elizabeth Cook, post-doctoral fellow, are part of a new team of interdisciplinary researchers that has been assembled to carry out a $1.8M study of urban and compound flood risks associated with current and future extreme rain events.
Learn more about the research they’re set out to do to advance NYC’s ability to assess present and future risk from urban flooding to stormwater systems, the built environment, and communities.
