Amy Allen is Liberal Arts Research Professor of Philosophy and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. Her most recent publications include The End of Progress: Decolonizing the Normative Foundations of Critical Theory (Columbia University Press, 2016); “Are We Driven? Critical Theory and Psychoanalysis Reconsidered,” in Critical Horizons (2015); “Emancipation without Utopia: Subjection, Modernity, and the Normative Claims of Feminist Critical Theory,” in Hypatia (2015); and “Reason, Power, and History: Re-reading the Dialectic of Enlightenment,” in Thesis Eleven (2014).

Rahel Jaeggi is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She is the author of numerous books in German and English including Critique of Forms of Life (Harvard University Press, forthcoming); Alienation (Columbia University Press, 2014); and Welt und Person: Zum anthropologischen Hintergrund der Gesellschaftskritik Hannah Arendts (Lukas, 1997). She has also co-edited a number of collected works, including (with Daniel Loick) Karl Marx: Perspektiven der Gesellschaftskritik (Akademieverlag, 2013) and (with Tilo Wesche) Was ist Kritik? (Suhrkamp, 2009). Among her recent essays are “Towards an Immanent Critique of Forms of Life,” Raisons politiques: Revue de théorie politique (2015) and “‘Objektive Kritik’ und Krise: berlegungen zu einer materialistischen Grundlegung von Sozialkritik,” in Perspektiven und Konstellationen kritischer Theorie, ed. Dirk Martin, Susanne Martin, and Jens Wissel (Münster, 2015).

Eva von Redecker is Research Assistant to the Chair for Practical and Social Philosophy at Humboldt University in Berlin. She is the author of Gravitation zum Guten: Hannah Arendts Moralphilosophie (Lukas, 2013) and Zur Aktualität von Judith Butler: Eine Einleitung in ihr Werk (VS, 2011). She has also published numerous articles, including “Anti-Genderismus and Right-Wing Hegemony,” in Radical Philosophy (2016).
