Alice Crary is Professor of Philosophy at The New School for Social Research. She is the author of Inside Ethics: The Demands of Moral Thought (Harvard University Press, 2016), and Beyond Moral Judgment (Harvard University Press, 2007). She is the editor of Wittgenstein and the Moral Life: Essays in Honor of Cora Diamond (MIT Press, 2007), the coeditor (with Sanford Shieh) of Reading Cavell (Routledge, 2006), and the co-editor (with Rupert Read) of The New Wittgenstein (Routledge, 2000).
