Ian Alexander Moore is a Tutor (Assistant Professor) at St. John’s College at Sante Fe. He is the author of Eckhart, Heidegger, and the Imperative of Releasement (SUNY Press, 2019), and the editor (with Alan D. Schrift) of Jean Wahl, Transcendence and the Concrete: Selected Writings (Fordham University Press, 2016). He is also the editor of Reiner Schürmann’s lecture course Neo-Aristotelianism and the Medieval Renaissance: On Aquinas, Ockham, and Eckhart (Diaphanes, forthcoming). His published articles include “Science, Logic, and the Nothing as Such: On the Newly Discovered Original Version of Heidegger’s ‘What Is Metaphysics?,’” The Review of Metaphysics (2019), “For the Love of Detachment: Trakl, Heidegger, and Derrida’s Geschlecht III,” International Yearbook of Hermeneutics (2019), and “The Problem of Ontotheology in Eckhart’s Latin Writings,” Epoché (2018).
