Malkhaz Toria, Fall 2016 TCDS Global Dialogues Fellow has had his Op-Ed on the ethnic Georgian residents of the Gali district of Abkhazia, published in Civil.ge! Toria received his Ph.D in History from Iv Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. He is currently an associate professor and the Director of the Memory Studies Center in the Caucasus at Ilia State University.
