“We, members of the American and international academic community, professors and students alike, emphatically condemn the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and its contempt for international law.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, we are humbled by their courage, and with those in Russia who are protesting a war of choice launched by their government.
We are committed to extend our support, in whatever ways we can, to scholars and students who find themselves displaced and at risk from this act of war.
We demand immediate withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine and ending of all the pressures on that country.”
